演講主題簡介：
Hadith is the documentation of the words and deeds of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad. Together with the Qur'an, it is one of the sources of Islamic law, doctrines, and ethics. This lecture will introduces hadith corpus, its transmission and documentation, and its disciplinary role in Muslim tradition and religion. In addition, it will address different approaches to hadith corpus and some debates over its authenticity.
