她們以前都是雇主口中的好看護、好幫手，卻因懷孕被解僱，住進移工安置中心待產。在台灣成為母親的她們，在異鄉走上一條更崎嶇的生養之路。
四位主角來自印尼與越南，她們是移工，也是媽媽。有人失婚後獨自忍耐孕期的不適，有人一邊照顧雇主一邊育兒，也有人必須面對與孩子分隔兩地的痛苦。她們和大家一樣，都有想要努力守護的小小幸福，只是，為什麼她們追求幸福的路卻困難重重？
They were once praised by their employers as excellent caregivers and diligent helpers, yet they were dismissed after becoming pregnant and had to seek refuge in migrant shelters to await childbirth. Becoming mothers in Taiwan, they embarked on an even more challenging journey of raising children in a foreign land.
The four protagonists, from Indonesia and Vietnam, are both migrant workers and mothers. One endured pregnancy alone after a failed marriage, another balanced caring for both her employer and her child, while another faced the heartbreaking reality of being separated from her baby. Like everyone else, they strive to protect their small but precious happiness—yet, why is their path to happiness so full of obstacles?
