Roy Gutterman is a professor and director of the Tully Center for Free Speech at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, USA. He is a former newspaper reporter and practicing lawyer. He speaks and writes on issues of media law, free speech, freedom of information and journalists' safety.
